The success of this project can be measured by the amazing adoption by the Line Thailand community with Lazadas' Laz the Lion character, quickly amassing over 2.7 million users in the first 24 hours of launching.

My role in the project was to hire an illustrator with experience of producing Line characters to develop a broad number of characters in style and type, we then sent our characters out for market research before commissioning 3 third party illustrators to design the final character.
